Guy Reschenthaler, Republican, from western Pennsylvania, is a graduate of Penn State. After he earned his law degree from Duquesne, he went to work for the US Navy Judge Advocate General Corps. He volunteered to serve in Iraq. In November 2015, he won a special election to the State Senate. As a conservative, Reschenthaler supports cutting spending and taxes as well as eliminating regulations he believes costs jobs.

Representing Georgia’s 6th district, Lucia “Lucy” McBath, Democrat, worked with Delta Air Lines for thirty years. Guided by the murder of her son, Jordan Davis, in 2012, McBath is interested in reforms focused on community safety. She worked with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and Everytown for Gun Safety as their national spokesperson. In 2016, she was a surrogate for Hillary Clinton. She spoke at the White House Summit on Educational Excellence for African Americans.

William Timmons, Republican, is an attorney. From South Carolina, he has served in the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s office. Timmons owns several small businesses. He graduated from George Washington University and attended the University of South Carolina law school. He has served on the board of the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate, Pendleton Place for Children and Families, and the Upstate Heart Ball. He is a First Lieutenant in the South Carolina Army National Guard serving as a JAG Officer.
